Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 2 November 2026
These terms apply to Mosque Prayer (the website at mosqueprayer.org and the Mosque Prayer Android app), published by venoralab.com(“we”, “us”). By using the website or the app, or by creating an account, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. How we handle personal data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
1. What the service is
Mosque Prayer shows the prayer and iqamah times that mosques publish, lets people follow mosques and receive reminders, and lets mosque managers publish and update their mosque’s page. Browsing mosques and prayer times needs no account.
2. Accounts
- You must give correct information and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us if you think someone else has used your account. We may suspend or close accounts that are used to cheat, harass, or harm the service or other people.
- You can delete your account at any time from the app or from the delete-account page; see the Privacy Policy for what is removed.
3. Mosque managers and published content
- A mosque manager is responsible for the accuracy of everything published for their mosque: prayer and iqamah times, Jumuah and Eid times, announcements, contact details, banner images and any other content.
- Do not publish anything unlawful, hateful, misleading, or that you do not have the right to use (including images you do not own). We may remove content and mosque pages that break these terms.
- A new mosque page is reviewed by administrators before it appears publicly. We may approve, reject, or remove a page at our discretion.
- By publishing content you allow us to store and display it in the website, the app, and mosque displays (for example the TV display) for as long as it is published.
4. Prayer times are not guaranteed
Times come from the mosque, from a published timetable, or from a calculation method the mosque chose. They can contain mistakes, and local sighting or the mosque’s own decision can differ. Please confirm with your mosque when it matters. Reminders and alarms depend on your phone’s settings, battery saving and permissions, and may be late or missing.
5. Paid plans and payments
Some manager features may need a paid plan. Where this applies, the price and period are shown before you pay. Payments are made by UPI and are confirmed by an administrator; confirmation can take time. Unless the law says otherwise, a payment for a period already started is not refundable; contact us if you believe a payment was taken in error.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not try to break, overload, scrape at high volume, or gain unauthorised access to the service or other accounts.
- Do not use the service to send spam or unwanted messages.
- Do not copy or resell the service, its design, or its content without our written permission.
7. Our rights
The software, design, name and logo belong to venoralab.com. Prayer-time data and content belong to their owners (mosques, timetable publishers, and the Quran Foundation for Quran text, translations and audio shown in the app). You may use the service for personal, non-commercial worship purposes, and mosque managers may use it for their mosque.
8. Availability and changes to the service
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change, pause, or stop features, and update the app, at any time.
9. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on prayer times or announcements, missed reminders, content published by mosques or users, or interruptions of the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as liability) continue after that.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update the date above and, for important changes, tell you in the app or by email. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
